Haaland takes Premier League goal tally to eleven with stunning four-goal haul

Erling Haaland continued his remarkable start to life in the Premier League with a stunning four-goal haul as Manchester City thrashed Wolves 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Norwegian striker opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 38th minute after Jack Grealish was brought down in the box. He doubled City's lead just before half-time with a clinical finish from close range.

Haaland completed his hat-trick in the 50th minute with another penalty, after Joao Moutinho was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. He then added his fourth of the night in the 69th minute with a powerful header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross.

Julian Alvarez added a fifth for City in the 70th minute, tapping in from close range after a fine run and cross from Riyad Mahrez.

The victory keeps City top of the Premier League table, five points clear of second-placed Arsenal. Wolves remain in 19th place, just one point above the relegation zone.
